When a trio of 21st century murders happens in three different cities simultaneously, Detective Sergeant Lindsay Boxer is put on the case to investigate. In the process, she uses her detective skills, opportunity, and connections to deduce the link and leader in each killing. To do this, she must access the most secure locations and meet the people she can trust, which is not an easy task when the violence caused by a rogue cop is still fresh in the mind of the citizens of LA and Chicago.
