These lovely bone china thimbles by Sutherland, England was crafted for the Thimble Collectors Club. The thimble has a gilded line running around the base and the front of the thimble has "Birds of Britain" in gilded writing with a gilded line above and below. The back of the thimble is gilded with the bird's name, a line, and the Latin name. The thimble is decorated with a beautiful detailed painted ceramic bird on the top. The inside of the thimble is stamped with “Sutherland England”, as well as "Thimble Collectors Club", and is approximately 43mm tall by 22mm base diameter, the widest part is approximately 30mm.
