24V to MicroUSB Converter 5V 3A | DC-DC suitable for Garage Doors

DC to DC converter from 24V DC to 5v DC via a Micro USB cable.

This unit is recommended to Power our 'Smart Gate Garage Door Opener Switch' via the 5V micro USB port. This option provides 'backup during loadshedding' due to the fact it connects to your garage doors batteries (as opposed to 230V mains).

Connect to the 24V DC available on the Gate control board.

Note: Garage doors normally need 24V DC check your control board model to check if it has 12 or 24V DC outputs.

1. Garage Door Motors : normally have 24V DC (could be 1x 24V or 12V batteries) - this unit you are viewing now. 
2. Gate Motors: normally have 12VDC but please check first - 12V to 5V MicroUSB [click here]
3. Note for example the new Centurion D5 EVO Smart Gate Motor is 24V = 2x 12V batteries
