26 Field Artillery Tupper Flash set x2 Bid per tupper

The 26 Field Artillery Regiment was a key artillery regiment in the South African Artillery. Established on 1 July 1976 for the Northern Transvaal Command, it was initially based in Voortrekkerhoogte, south of Pretoria. The regiment's first personnel were primarily sourced from the 14 Field Artillery Regiment, with about 100 members who had participated in Operation Savanah, notably in the battle for Bridge 14. In 1981, the regiment's headquarters moved to Group 15 in Hendrik Potgieter Street in the CBD, but it eventually returned to its original location in Voortrekkerhoogte. By 1984, the regiment was under the command of the Eastern Transvaal Command and functioned as a conventional field regiment. It also had an affiliation with the 8th Armoured Division.

The regiment held deep historical ties, with its two senior batteries named after guns from the Anglo Boer War: the Martini and Ras. In terms of operations, members were deployed in the Soutpansberg Military Area, near the Zimbabwe border. The regiment also celebrated traditions, marking the 100th year of the Ras gun.
