These two, magnificent vintage (c1950's) French made Christofle "Coquille Vendome Shell" Porte Couteaux silver plated knife rests are in superb condition for their age and one can see why Christofle pieces are so sought after. The two stunningly ornate knife rests each measure 10cm long x 3.8cm wide x 3.4cm high. The knife rests have absolute minimal scuffs and there is very little evidence of tarnishing. The incredible Vendome pattern has decorations of scrolls, foliage and palmette. They have been extremely well looked after.
