The Pekin Lilac is a small tree or large multi-stemmed shrub, growing just 4.5 to 6 meters tall and fits nicely into a typical home landscape. It is a related species to the Japanese Tree Lilac and blooms in late spring to early summer with fragrant creamy white flowers on 7 to 15 cm long panicles.
