What's inside the box?

The 3 piece kit consists of the following staple tools

• Kikuwa general bonsai scissors

This is probably the tool which you will use most and is simply a must have. This pair of scissors is well made and of good quality, and should serve you well for many years.

• Kikuwa combination tweezers and spatula

A most useful tool when removing dead or old foliage from your bonsai or around them in the roots or on the surface of the moss. The tweezers can also be used to remove weeds. The spatula can be used when applying fresh moss around your tree and to tamp down soil after you have re-potted.

• Kikuwa turntable

When you style bonsai trees you need to turn the tree around a lot to enable you to work on all sides. Doing so on a turntable made for the purpose makes it a lot easier to do so. The commonly used plastic turntables are not ideal as they don't revolve properly when the tree is too light (and you end up turning the tree on the turntable) and when the tree is too heavy the two plastic halves will not turn independently of one another. This high quality, plastic turntable has a bearing for smoother use and a break for when you need to keep the tree from moving, for instance when you are wiring.
