A matching trio of antique cast bronze sanctuary church bells by Peerage with richly detailed decorative ornament and Aquila Agnus Pelicanus Leo inscription. Heavy solid antique brass with loud deep, bight sound. Late Victorian era or early 1900s.
Please note the brass has deliberately not been polished because this would remove the precious patina that has developed throughout the years. Can easily be cleaned for a detailed shine.
This exceptional example of antique brass bell by Peerage has:
• Maker's marks inside the bell stamped on clappers
• Region of Manufacture: United Kingdom
• Material: Solid brass
The large bell measures 11 cm in height and 8 cm in base diameter, brass. In exceptional condition without damages or repairs.
The medium bell measures 8 cm in height and 6.5 cm in base diameter, brass. In exceptional condition. No damage or repairs.
The small bell measures 6.5 cm in height and 5.5 cm in base diameter, polished aluminium. Missing original clapper otherwise in excellent presentation condition without defects.
