3 X Cannon Shell Casings.

Comprising:

Berndorf 1918 - 33 - 8cm M16. Top part has been cut and decorated in typical trench art fashion. 230mm in length. A piece of cork has been placed in  hole at the base.

6 Pr with markings "1 III Lot 26 - Cf - K." 300mm in length.

Patronenfabrik Karlsruhe Juli 1899 Ke. Decorated at the top in trench art fashion. Has slight dents. I was told, but cannot be certain, that these shells were the first smokeless shells to be used during the Anglo Boer War by the Boers - causing confusion amongst the British as, being smokeless, they could not see from where the cannon was fired.

Signed for postage in SA, at buyers own risk, will be R50.
