These learning IR Remotes work really nicely, I have a few of them and have used them with great success with a Denon Hifi amp and cd player, Dstv PVR and Sony 65" TV and works perfectly, the range is as good as the original.

Also you can program from multiple devices onto one remote - one button from one remote and another from another device. For instance you can program the play buttons to the bluray and volume/channel buttons to the TV.

Also good for elderly people who get confused with remotes with too many buttons.

The remote does not lose the setting if you take the batteries out!!

It has 11 buttons which can be programmed - uses 2 x AAA which are not included.
