These are three different microcontroller development boards commonly used for electronics, IoT (Internet of Things), and prototyping projects.
1. NodeMCU ESP8266 Development Board (Left)
Main Chip: ESP8266 (ESP-12F / ESP-12E module)
Key Features: Built-in Wi-Fi, Micro-USB port for programming and power, onboard voltage regulator, and breadboard-friendly layout.
Best Used For: Compact Wi-Fi/IoT projects, smart home devices, and wireless sensors.
2. WeMos D1 R1 Wi-Fi Board (Middle)
Main Chip: ESP8266
Key Features: Combines the Wi-Fi capability of the ESP8266 chip with the familiar Arduino Uno layout/form factor. It operates at 3.3\text{ V} logic and is compatible with many Arduino shields.
Best Used For: Projects requiring Wi-Fi connectivity while maintaining compatibility with standard Arduino Uno shields and hardware layouts.
3. Arduino Uno R3 (SMD Version) (Right)
Main Chip: ATmega328P (Surface Mount Package)
Key Features: Standard 5\text{ V} microcontroller board, USB Type-B connection, DC power jack, and standard header pin layout. (Note: Unlike the other two, this standard board does not have built-in Wi-Fi).
Best Used For: Beginners learning electronics, offline robotics, sensor reading, and general micro-controller prototyping.
