Lovely Metallic Elasticated Bits

Make your own funky hair elastics, lanyards, bracelets and whatever else you can think of.

This is a long beaded hair elastic, it can also have feathers or artificial coloured hair added to it, which has proved to be quite popular  This is the crimp end.  . 

 Split rings and a clasp are added to this for the bracelet

 For the lanyard, both edges get crimped together with a single crimp end, and can be beaded, feathered, charmed, etc. :)  

Another Item (24 of them)  I made for a table setting (lol, originally intended to be a hairband, but it looked so pretty and perfectly suited the table setting colours I was using - the theme is Fruit Festival

You will see this pic elsewhere on the tea lights and candle holders I am selling - I could make them up and sell them in the HOME AND LIVING categories, but I am a DIY crafter first and foremost. Originally I planned on buying these for a function, BUT TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICS BELOW - THIS IS WHAT I COULD HAVE PAID, gulp! (and actually paid for one of them to prove to hubby that my crafting saves a lot of moolah, hehe!)

And here are the sets I made:  First one using craft wire, a bouquet I stripped for the buds and leaves, and my own bead-in-a-bead; 2nd one is the one I actually used for the occassion - 24 of them (copied from a hair elastic) and using stardust beads, twine thread in a marcrame knot around the elastic (the macrame Knot allows the beads to move with the elastic)
