This is a long beaded hair elastic, it can also have feathers or artificial coloured hair added to it, which has proved to be quite popular amongst her college friends.  She also makes the hair elastics with just feathers or the coloured hair, which looks quite lovely and which they wear to their raves.

This is the crimp end.  . 

 Split rings and a clasp are added to this for the bracelet

 For the lanyard, both edges get crimped together with a single crimp end, and can be beaded, feathered, charmed, etc. :)
