Just plug this Inverter into the Eskom power socket, connect 1 or more batteries, plug your appliances into the unit and you have a solution. When Eskom power goes off the unit automatically takes over and generates household electricity off battery power. When Eskom power returns the unit automatically switches back to Eskom and charges the batteries ready for the next power outage.
This inverter generates a very high precision modified sine wave output that is filtered and crystal controlled to ensure a stable frequency. Unlike cheaper alternatives, this unit can power more sensitive equipment that will generally only run on a pure sine wave output.
Running a moderate load on this inverter with 2 x 100AH sealed long cycle batteries you should have at least 6 hours run time which is sufficient for the typical 4 hour power cut. I can provide batteries but these are not practical to courier and are anyway available at battery outlets nationwide for around R1300, can advise on what you should buy.
