The Macro 830 Professional Power Amplifier is a great choice for applications requiring excellent frequency response, superior sound quality, high fidelity and low noise power. This solid, durable amplifier also features switchable output power (serial, stereo and bridged) and a sophisticated protection circuit. The advanced design of the Alto Macro 830 makes it perfect for critical power amplification needs.

• This amplifier is designed for professional applications, with three levels of power. Output power is adjustable and the sophisticated protection circuits ensure trouble-free operation.


• Input matching allows connection with any amplifier.

• The input is XLR-balanced and uses a 6.3 socket for better matching.


• The ouput power can be switched between serial, stereo and bridged.


• Low noise fan for efficient cooling. When the temperature rises, the fan automatically switches to high-speed. It rotates at normal speed at other times to reduce power consumption.


• While on, the Clip Limit function keeps a fixed ouput. When the ouput exceeds the maximum of the amp, this changes to protect its circuits. While off, there is no such limit.


• Indicator for the ouput balance, as well as status indicator of SIG and CLIP. When there is a signal, the SIG light is on. If anything abnormal happens to the circuits, the CLIP light will illuminate.

Owner's Comments:

Equipment hardly ever used. Was intended for a band, but ended up only being used a few times as a computer sound system. These loudspeakers and amp are begging to be owned by someone who can actually use them to their full capacity.
