This original 1720 British legal indenture records a marriage settlement between Thomas Edgworth of Castlecomer, County Kilkenny, and John Baptist Meade Esq., with provisions for the intended union of Thomas Edgworth the younger and Anne Atkinson.
The manuscript outlines financial obligations, trust arrangements, and annuity clauses in elegant cursive script on aged parchment. It features three embossed six-pence revenue stamps bearing the crowned rose emblem, along with an eight-pence hand-stamped duty mark, over 300 years old, clear evidence of official fiscal processing under early 18th-century British law.

The document also carries the Exchequer Office watermark and remains legible despite its age. An authentic artefact of Georgian-era legal practice, ideal for collectors of antique manuscripts, revenue philately, or historical legal instruments.
