If you would like your wire connections to look neat and not having the hassle of the usual electrical tape to cover wires then heat tubing is the best way to go about it. The heat shrink tubes shrink to 1/2 its size when heated up with a flame. A cigarette lighter is doing the trick for me but you can also use a hot air tool to do that.
