These Rugby World Cup 2011 coins minted are the commemorative 2011 Mandela SA Rugby Silver coins. The South African Gold Coin Exchange (SAGCE) launched the new 2011 Rugby Coin Set on 31 August 2011. The silver coins available are the 1oz silver coin and the 2oz silver medallion. The reverse of the coin feature the Springbok emblem and the obverse shows Mandelas bust with the words A Long Walk To Freedom. The coins are minted by Mint of Norway and the one ounce has a limited mintage of 2011. The exclusive 2oz Mandela Rugby silver medallion that features Mandelas bust on the obverse and the Springbok on the reverse. This 2oz has a limited mintage of 500 and is also minted by the Mint of Norway.
