The ends of the tool unscrew to access a magnesium fire starter rod on the one end and a combo blade on the other. The blade has a 27mm straight edge on one side and a 25mm serrated edge on the other.

The Magnesium rod measures 27mm with a 6mm diameter. The tools are screwed closed with a O-Ring seal to assist with rust prevention of the blade and the fire starter.
