Purpose
When you need to connect a HDMI source device (such as a decoder, TV Box etc) to more than one TV. Outputs can be connected to any TV, Monitor, Projector or HDMI Extender. With this Splitter not all outputs need be connected if you only have a need for 2 way the other 2 output ports can remain as spare for future use.
This unit can also perform a 'inline HDMI booster repeater function' meaning max 15m cable input and 15m on the output (resolutions 1080p and below) and 8m for 4K.
Note: HDMI Splitters are often used in conjunction with HDMI CAT Cable Extenders to for example extend a DSTV decoder to a bedroom or entertainment area. For this purpose we recommend the below extender which can control the decoder from any of the extended locations.
