The badges have a dark gilding metal finish, many badges were darkened during WW2 to reduce the visibility of the badge.
The set of Officers Badges are part of the Militaria Collection of Lt Col AD Irvine who served in the Union Defence Force in North Africa and Europe during WW2 and for the South African Air Force.
Condition: Excellent, fully intact, undamaged, includes split pins.
