The Evolution of the South African TEN RAND NOTE during the 1900's. Bid per note to take the full collection!

In the previous century, there were four basic types of the R10s issued for the Republic of South Africa.

Firstly there was the huge R10 issued in 1961 & 1962

From the later 1960s to the middle 1970s, the size of note was reduced and the features changed

From the late 1970s until 1990, the features were changed again – these were the last of the Jan van Riebeeck series

During the 1990s the “Big Five” notes were issued with the R10 featuring the Rhinoceros.

 Note that the earliest note was printed in 1961/1962, hence it is over 50 years old and in circulated condition.  See  images (serial numbers may differ).
