At 42 House of Scent we only sell one to one matches which means that our fine fragrances smell the same as the originals. In addition to this we mix our fine fragrances with 30% perfume oil and 70% alcohol – compared to the originals that mix on average somewhere between 10% to 20% perfume oil and 80% to 90% alcohol. This means that our fine fragrances will last much longer on your skin because we dose them with much higher levels of perfume oil.

What this means for you the perfume lover is that you can enjoy all your favourite fine fragrances at affordable prices.

“Inspired by the original designer fragrances” or “generic type” – These are “Inspired by the original designer fragrances” or “generic types” of the original designer perfume and are sold in a modern frosted glass bottle. Like other ‘generic type’ products, such as prescription medication, these fine fragrances have similar qualities and effectiveness of the originals, but are NOT from the original designer.
