42.8ct Large Labradorite Cabochon - DISCOUNTED.

A well cut and shaped labradorite cabochon with blue flash.

Approx 41.8-9 carats

37.35mm x 21mm x 6.75mm

I have discounted this cabochon because there is a band across the middle that does not have a flash, and the flash that it does have does not extend as far as I'd like around the edges.  It also has a minor chip along the edge of the bottom.  But despite this, it is still a lovely cabochon.

I have tried to show this cabochon from every angle.  I have tried to show it's least flashy look to its most beautiful.  I have done my best to point out its flaws so that there are no surprises when receiving it.

PLEASE NOTE:  Labradorites and moonstones are notoriously difficult to photograph accurately.  I do feel these images have done a pretty good job though.  Please make sure your screen is calibrated before purchasing cabochons.  Computer and cell phone screens are often brighter, and have more contrast and saturation than they should.

These images have been taken next to a big window with natural light.  Indoor lighting, this cab may look different.  It may appear dull.  In direct sunlight, the flash is even brighter than the images.  Labradorite flash is highly dependant on their light source and angle.
