450mm Horizontal swivel building jig

We designed this building jig because we needed to ensure that the model doesn't get damaged when we work on its side. The problem is that you end up laying the model on its side on the workbench and then it gets scratched or damaged.

The jig is 450mm long which is long enough for most long HO steam locomotives with their tenders. The model bed swivels so that you are able to position the model so that you can work on it comfortably.

The lower part of the jig has various compartments for your tools and parts. You no longer need to worry about that tiny little screw or spring going missing.

The jig is supplied in laser cut flat pack kit form. it is supplied with full instructions and you will be able to put it together in about 15 minutes.

The jig has become part of the furniture in our workshop. We all use them because they just make life so much easier. I just wasted too much time on all four looking for little parts or having to repair damage on the sides of the models due to laying them on their sides on the workbench.
