Depending on the HDMI version ofyour connect devices this unit may NOT require external power (power 5VDC fromHDMI connections). Upon complete connection of all devices press the Selectionbutton if the unit does not power ON and work then a power cable from USBsource is included.

Purpose

If you have more HDMI sourcedevices than your TV, monitor or projector has input ports then this devicewill effectively add 4 more ports all capable of switching 4K.

You can connect any number of HDMIinput devices from 1 to 5. If you have 3 then you will be left with 2 spareinputs for future use.

Remote Control

The unit has both manual andremote input selectors. The benefit of the remote control is that the switchitself and all the HDMI cables connected to it can be hidden from view. Onlythe IR RX eye need to have LOS (line of sight) with the remote control itself.

Note: The IR remote is powered bya lithium button battery (CR2025) which is NOT included.
