Drimia altissima or "Jeukbol" as it is commonly known can grow up to 1.6 meters tall when in flower. It has tough grey-green erect leaves that appear after the flowers have died down. From Spring to Summer it has a dense inflorescence of white flowers with dark keels. This bulb thrives in hot areas and is perticularly well suited to being used in a rockery.
