Meconopsis betonicifolia Seeds

Himalayan Blue Poppy, Tibetan Blue

Sometimes referred to as 'Tibetan Blue', the famous and elusive Himalayan Blue Poppy is an exceptionally attractive perennial plant that is ideally suited for the shade garden. Growing 90-120 cm tall and producing beautiful 8 to 10 cm silky blooms, they thrive in shade, acid soil and cool, humid conditions. Although not suited for all climates, they are actually quite easy to grow and hardy to -23 °C. A rare and special poppy for collectors, this unique variety is well worth trying and immensely rewarding to view in bloom.
