Podranea brycei Seeds

Zimbabwe Creeper

Podranea brycei, commonly known as Queen of Sheba, Zimbabwe Climber, Port John’s Creeper or Zimbabwe Creeper is an evergreen climber in the Bignoniaceae family. It produces glossy green oval to lance-shaped foliage similar to that of Wisteria and showy, pink, trumpet-shaped blooms. Originating from Southern Africa, the pretty pink flowers are scented and typically last all summer, appearing above the foliage. It said to be able to withstand heat and drought, this woody, strong-growing, bignonia-type creeper bears large bunches of trumpet-shaped, pale pink flowers at the ends of its branches.
