Pseudoselago serrata is an awesomely beautiful summer flowering perennial from South Africa. It grows from 30cm to 90cm in height and is best grown in a sunny spot of the garden in well-drained soil. It has small, crowded and recurved, hairless leaves that cover the thin branches. During summer this handsome plant bears dense heads of very attractive flowers in shades of purple, mauve, blue or pink flowers. Like Hydrangeas the intensity of colour is linked to soil acidity.
