The chilli pepper flesh is similar to Jalapeno chilli peppers (but hotter) and will help to spice up summer salads. Try slipping a Peter Pepper into your Gran’s salad! The pods are 10cm to 15cm long, blunt-ended, and mature to a deep red. It is excellent for chili powder and is hotter than the Jalapeno or Tobasco chilli at 5 000 - 30,000 scoville units.
