Rosemary Seeds
The leaves give a meat roast a rich flavor if tucked into the skin before cooking (particularly good with poultry). It enriches chicken, meat, tomato soup and enhances stews and chopped finely adds zing to freshly cooked peas. Grow next to your carrots as it is said to repel carrot flies. Much used in the past to treat a variety of disorders. As time went by it became used specifically as a heart tonic, to aid ailing memory and to treat rheumatism and arthritis. Its action is gentle and gradual. As a hair rinse it makes hair shiny-healthy with a forest green scent and will help to clear persistent dandruff! Also makes an excellent houseplant in a sunny window. It produces small blue flowers and reaches a variable height from 45cm to 150cm and can be kept clipped.
