Also called the 5RR aide memoire.

They, 5th Battalion Rhodesia Regiment were the prime movers behind the compilation of these little books. They made two versions, one was for conventional warfare (mine was borrowed and never returned). I still have the ATOPS (Anti Terrorist Operations) one that I am selling and which I bought in early 1979. I think the idea was for territorial soldiers to be able to keep up with things but it was found useful by everyone at every level.

It has sections on Admin, medic, resupply, air ops and just about every aspect that one could expect to experience. While some of the information is outdated the basics would be applicable even today I believe. I don't know how many were made but they are not commonly found.
