A VERY rare find and most unusual collection - five vintage cut-throat razors your great-grandfather would have used - as well as some notorious murderers.
They are being offered at auction with no reserve!
The collection belonged to my uncle, George Bury, who saw active service in WW2. It includes a Henckels razor made in Solingen, Germany. The family tale is that George, who was powerfully built, acquired it from a German soldier in North Africa who in hand-to-hand combat tried to slit his throat with it. George survived, the German soldier was not that fortunate. I should add this tale was never authenticated and George would not discuss it.
All the razors seem to be made of top quality steel and are still razor sharp (sorry), so extreme caution must be used when handling them.

This is as fuller description as is possible to give to this fine collection. The condition is good, although in the same breath I must say time has taken its toll, as would be expected considering they were all manufactured probably around 80 years ago.
