Weinmannia trichosperma is an evergreen tree from Chile with fern-like leaves. The flowers of Weinmannia trichosperma are popular with honey bees which are said to produce the best honey from this tree. The bark of this impressive tree also gives it value due to the well-marked structure. It grows to a height of 25 meters, prefers a sunny position with regular irrigation. It is cold hardy to -10°C.
