Used in protein skimmers, foam fractioners or as a normal aquarium airstone.
The fine bubbles from the limewood airstones create a large surface area for the microscopic particles to attach to when used in protein skimmers or foam fractioners.
Please note: these are wooden airstones and they float, so you
will have to weigh them down. I use part of my rock decorations to do this.
