These are considered the healthiest group of foods we can eat and studies suggest they may reduce the risk of some forms of cancer. Its firm head is excellent cooked or raw in stews and salads.

This variety produces round, reddish-purple heads ranging from 12 – 18cm in diameter, weighing about 1.4kg that adds a beautiful color to coleslaw and other dishes. It stores well and is resistant to cabbage yellow. Matures in 70-80 days. It is a great looking specimen in gardens and adds more color to the dinner table. Can be used as a colorful garnish, chopped or in leaf form. Can be cooked with a bit of butter and salt and pepper, or used fresh in coleslaw.
