Not quite a full set as one saucer is missing but hopefully the extra very large jug makes up for it.

This is a tea set your mom or gran only brought out when hosting visitors! Absolutely superb.

Very little is known about Huguenot, Huguenot Royale, Constantia or La Rochelle RSA. These were commercial factories as opposed to studio potters so is not covered in Scorched Earth by Wendy Gers. Functional, practical and beautifully finished. It needed to attain this high standard to be included in hotel ware and caravaning crockery, home-ware shops and the like. There is a French theme running through all these sets. Included in this set is two identical gravy boats (large jug) with different makers marks. One is 'Huguenot' (strangely not Huguenot Royale with crown above the green square) and the other marked 'Constantia SABS', just to show the link.
