Thin, Light, but Stronger
SK hynix's PC711 and BC711 client SSDs combine the latest V6 128-layer 4D NAND flash with an in-house controller and firmware to deliver higher densities, increased throughput, better endurance, and power efficiency. As the mobility of PCs becomes increasingly important, the drives are made to be thin and lightweight with a small form factor (M.2 2230). Robust performance utilizing the PCIe Gen3 x4 interface. The BC711 even comes in smaller boards including M.2 2230 and 2242, perfectly fit to accommodate evolving PC environments and a widening range of applications.
Low Power Mode Support
PC711 and BC711 exhibit better performance in all aspects compared to our previous PC601 thanks to new NAND flash and SoC technology, which enable the drives to achieve the Gen3 maximum bandwidth. Even with the performance improvement, power consumption is saved. The BC711's new L1.2 low power mode can keep the drive running at less than 3.5mW - the least amount of power possible in a PC user environment - saving crucial battery life for mobile PCs. cSSD_Depth4_Feature_2
