MALA BRACELET

The mala, or Japa mala, is a string of beads that is used like a rosary to count the number of times that a mantra is recited. This process is known in Sanskrit as "Japa". The main purpose of the mala is so that the user can focus on the meaning or the sound of the mantra and not the counting of repetitions. 

The 'guru' bead in this mala bracelet is Turquoise.  Turquoise is an excellent stone for treating depression due to its vibrant colour which is due to copper and aluminium in the mineral.  It is used to calm minds in turmoil following a nervous breakdown and to prevent panic attacks.  It can be worn to protect against negative energies and is said to change colour to warn of danger or illness. 

This mala bracelet is a wrap bracelet and fits all sizes, it consists of 54 wooden beads.
