Feature:
1. This is an AUX in adapter for Ford 5000 CD, 6000 CD, 6006 CDC and also Ford Sony CDX-F214 factory fitted head units.
The adapter works with units which have a volume adjustment knob located in the centre of the unit and AUX button in the
top left corner of the unit.
2. The adapter will fit both rectangular and round shape head units.
In order to remove rectangular head unit, special removal tools (pins) are required (see my other listings).
In order to remove round shape head unit, torx screwdriver is required.
3. AUX in adapter enables any device with 3.5mm Jack socket being connected and play audio files via in car speakers system.
Particular devices with 3.5mm Jack in (headphone socket): iPod, iPhone, iPad, MP3 players, mobile phones and more.
4. The adapter plugs in into the harness at the back of the head unit, as shown in the simple installation guide provided,
other end is then connected to an audio device of your choice via headphone socket.
5. There is no need for knowing your CD/radio code, as there is no need to disconnecting radio harness prior the installation,
just make sure the CD/radio remains switched off during installation.
