60Gb ADSL Voucher through Cybersmart

This offer is only for South African users.

I am selling a 60Gb ADSL voucher. The ADSL is through the service provider Cybersmart. I received the voucher with a gift of mine, but I already have uncapped ADSL internet and have therefore not used it. I'm willing to sell it at an effective R7.50 per gigabyte. This means that it will cost you R450 (excluding postage).

PLEASE NOTE: THE VOUCHER IS NEW BUT WAS OPENED IN THE STORE WHERE MY GIFT WAS PURCHASED IN ORDER TO EXPLAIN HOW IT WORKS. THE VOUCHER IS UNUSED AND THE FACT THAT IT IS OPEN DOES NOT VOID IT IN ANY WAY.

You must have:

• - a post-paid Telkom line
• - A Router
• - It doesn't say it explicitly on the packaging but inside the booklet, it does say that you'll need an ADSL line, and I quote: "I don't have an ADSL line, what now? Don't worry Cybersmart will get one for you. Choose "I am a new 'ADSL customer' option during the application process. (This will be for your own account)". I interpret that to mean that you'll have to pay for that yourself.

You can either opt for: (a) 10 free gigabytes for 6 months or (b) if you're an existing CyberSmart subscriber, you can opt to ADD 10 gigabytes to your existing cap for 6 months.

PLEASE NOTE: There is an option for the scenario where you have your ADSL line through another ISP. This is detailed in the literature accompanying the voucher and involves migrating your ADSL line back to Telkom.

This voucher will be sold as is ("voetstoets"). It has been opened, but is unused. It has some ink writing on the cover. The unique voucher code is intact.

READ CAREFULLY: Below are the Terms and Conditions listed in the voucher. I will not be liable for any misunderstanding (as this is usually sealed and unknown to the user. I thought you'd want to know the WHOLE deal, so I opened it. This does not void the voucher in any way, and the voucher is still redeemable and valid).

- The voucher entitles you to 60Gb free ADSL data

- The "free gigs" can only be used in conjunction with a cybersmart adsl subscription

- If you cannot install the ADSL in your area (due to technological reasons), the voucher cannot be redeemed and there is no compensation for the 'Free Gigs". The voucher is, however transferable.

- The "free gigs" are redeemed in increments of 10 gigabytes (Gb) per month. This means that you will receive 10Gb per month over a 6 month period for the 60Gb voucher.

- If you do not use the full 10Gb in the month, the unused gigabytes will NOT be carried over, UNLESS you subscribe to the optional "giggybank addon" at an additional fee of R59 per month.

- The voucher must be activated before 30 November 2012

- The Cybersmart ADSL subscription costs R99 per month for 10Gb of Internet data per month ("cap"). You may use the "free gigs" to reduce the cost of your subscription OR to increase your monthly cap be 10Gb per month for 6 months.

- The "free gigs" are not pro-rated. If you sign up on the last day of the month, you will redeem your Free 10Gbs for that month.

- You will be issued an ADSL account with a 10Gb cap during the sign-up process. You will use your voucher to redeem your "Free gigs" against this ADSL account. You may not use multiple vouchers with the same ADSL account. The ADSL account that is issued can be used from a single location only.

- The is no contract term. You may cancel this contract at any time by giving one month's notice. If you cancel before your "free period" has expired, no compensation will be given for the unused Free gigabytes.
