60gb Sony Playstation 3 (Broken Blu-Ray Drive Needs Replacing), As Is.

I am selling my old Playstation 3 60gb version (Backward compatible with PS2 games,etc.) with a BROKEN Blu-Ray Drive, As Is.

Comes with power cable and AV cable only.

The machine is heavy, so please note shipping is quite high.

However PLEASE NOTE the Blu-Ray drive needs complete replacing (not just laser) - it does not take discs anymore - mechanism broke - the drive makes a big noise when turned on, or when the eject button is pressed. When I took it to a repairman, he said plastic parts had broken in the Blu-Ray drive, and couldn't fix it, and I would have to order a new drive to be put in.

Gutted, because it's been a great machine for 5 years, and of course it could play my old PS2 games. Also has all the different memory card slots that the new one's don't, 4 usb slots rather than 2, and you can even install any other operating system on the machine (also taken off new models).

Still has 4 or 5 Playstion Network games on the hdd that play perfectly (Super Rub a Dub, Lemmings, Go Sudoku, Go Puzzle and Nucleus)

Contemplated buying a new drive, but ended up getting a new machine so decided I would sell the old one off to someone who can replace the drive or use it for parts.
