This Premium Battery is a low maintenance lead acid battery(SMF), for all classes of vehicles. It has a standard taper Positive and Negative terminals. Polypropylene container with a one piece Din cover type and built on polypropylene handles, Base hold down class B6.
DIXON BATTERIES
Enhanced Flooded Battery (EFB): EFB batteries are ideal for automotive applications with entry-level start-stop function. Similar to start-stop AGM batteries, they are able to restart the car engine in milliseconds and are maintenance-free. EFB batteries typically feature polyeece material lining which helps to prolong the life of the lead plate material, keeping the electrolyte closer to the plates in each cell. Due to the heavy demands of start-stop technology, these batteries often require thicker plates than compared to conventional starting batteries.
Lead-acid batteries are made up of plates of lead and separate plates of lead dioxide, which are submerged into an electrolyte solution of about 35% sulfuric acid and 65% water.
