These cables have pure copper cores compared to aluminium cores that do not have an efficient CCC (Current Carrying Capacity).While aluminium core cables are more popular on solar panel connections due to safety reasons and allow the cable to burn off internally and prevent fires, copper cables are in favor of battery connections to minimize voltage loss and current restrictions.Therefore it is critically important to have battery cables professionally crimped and adequately sized for the application.
