SADF Pattern 83 Bergen H-Frame Rucksack. Used by the SADF during the Border War. Made of waterproof cordura nylon, nutria brown colour with black frame. 77 liter carrying capacity. Perfect for longer hikes and climbs. Seperate straps to attach sleeping bag. Frame ensures comfortable carry for loads exceeding 50kg. Consists of 2 main compartments and 4 side pockets. Waist and chest strap for upper body support . Can be carried with or without the frame. All straps, belts, buckles and zips are intact. Paint on frame has started to come off but in perfect working order, no tears or holes. Soldier's name or personal details may be written on front of bag.
