Coffee Table Book by Sean Brand in honour of Herman Pretorius

In his book due for release at Oppikoppi 2010 in August, photographer Sean Brand writes in his tribute to Herman Pretorius how he distinctly remembers the first time the two really chatted backstage at Maloney’s Rock Fest in September 2008. “Herman’s passion for SA music was tangible!” It was this common passion that eventually led to the two deciding to collaborate on a book - Sean’s photographs with Herman’s writing on bands that inspired both of them... Sadly it was not to be, but as Sean realised how Herman’s legacy was evident at rock gigs all over, he decided to publish the photographs, with the support of MK, in a coffee table photo collection dedicated to the passion of Herman. The book contains nearly 300 colour images of live rock performances of over 50 bands beautifully bound in 184 pages.
