Product information
This display module uses the commonly available 84x48 Nokia 5110 LCD. It is capable of displaying 4 lines of text or monochrome graphics. It uses serial interface to communicate with the microcontroller greatly reducing the number of microcontroller pins used. Eight signal lines including VCC and GND are used. Transfer rates of up to 4Mbps enable full speed data without a waiting time. The display also has a low current requirement. The normal working current is less than 200uA and the display has a power-down feature.
