This replaces your existing router and fibre ONT box power supply, and works as a UPS for 4-8 hours, running your WiFi while there is loadshedding, for example.

It can also charge a phone / work as a power bank (but obviously this will reduce the running time).

Depending on your setup, you may need two units. Please contact me using the "ask the seller a question" feature, to confirm, if you are unsure how many units you will require.

An example of where you will need two units:

• Fibre ONT box is 12v, but router is 9v (one unit for each, one set at 12v and one set at 9v)

• Fibre ONT box and router are not next to each other (the DC cable from the UPS to the router and Fibre Box is not very long - they have to be next to each other)

It can theoretically also work as a battery backup power supply for 12v security cameras, 12v DC lights, or actually anything that runs on 5v / 9v / 12v DC.
