The current re-incarnation of this organisation, Master Builders Association, did not want this historical piece.

Buy for the gold.  375 stamp can be clearly seen.  Makers mark unknown.  I'm sure it would have been made in Durban, South Africa which was where my grandfather lived.

This belonged to my grandfather.  I recently found it inside a decorative box inside a display cabiner that I have had since the 1980's.

At current price for 0.375 gold @ R356.97 =  R4283.64
